Scientific Director

Jason Conceicao is a Scientific Director for the Monash IVF Group, overseeing all laboratory operations across Western Australia, including Fertility North. With more than 20 years experience in reproductive science, he brings a strong focus on clinical excellence, innovation and improving patient outcomes.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Clinical Embryology from Monash University, and has worked extensively at the interface of laboratory science and clinical practice. His experience spans embryology, andrology and biochemistry, with a strong emphasis on quality management systems and evidence‑based care.

Passionate about building high‑performing scientific teams, Jason is committed to delivering safe, effective, and high-quality fertility treatment. He has also contributed to the broader ART community through training, mentoring, and professional service, including roles with Scientists in Reproductive Technology (SIRT) and as a NATA Technical Assessor.

Outside of work, he is an avid kite surfer and enjoys fishing, spearfishing, basketball, and motorbike riding.
