Dr Rashida Hakeem is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who has been working in the area of Women’s Health for the past 18 years.

She graduated in Mumbai (India) in 2005 and completed her specialist training in KEMH Mumbai in 2010. She then moved to Australia and worked in WA, Tasmania and NSW and achieved her FRANZCOG. During her training in Australia she successfully completed advanced training modules of Hysteroscopic and Laparoscopic surgery, Colposcopy and Pelvic floor disorders. She is currently doing the Masters of Reproductive Medicine. Her areas of special interest are Fertility and Gynaecology.

Dr Rashida is multi-linguistic and fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and Urdu. She is passionate about delivering quality healthcare to culturally and linguistically diverse women, in the most sensitive manner.

Outside of work she loves to paint, craft, cook and enjoy being a mum.
