Dr Megan Byrnes is a consultant Gynaecologist with a special interest in infertility and IVF. She is a graduate of Sydney University, completing her Bachelor of Medical Science in 2002 and in 2006 was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Dr Byrnes completed her internship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. In 2007, Megan relocated to Perth and undertook her initial specialist training at King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women at Subiaco, and completed her senior training at Joondalup Health Campus. She has completed her Masters Degree in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales.
Megan is interested in all aspects of gynaecology particularly endometriosis, complex laparoscopic surgery, infertility, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, menstrual management, contraception and family planning.
